Spiced Pear and Ginger Smoothie

Pears are in season in summer for a reason. Drinking pear juice every morning and night helps to cool your body down during this time. Combined with the refreshing effects of cucumber, this helps to balance the spice of the ginger.

Pears are in season in summer for a reason. Drinking pear juice every morning and night helps to cool your body down during this time. Combined with the refreshing effects of cucumber, this helps to balance the spice of the ginger.

  • 1 ripe pear
  • juice of 2 cucumbers and 1 small knob of ginger
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1 handful of basil

Blend the juice, fruit and basil together until smooth. If you find the consistency too thick, add a little water until you get your desired texture.

Garnish with, bee pollen, hemp seeds and a slice of fresh ginger.

Sit back, relax and enjoy!
